Jeff Bezos Says National Enquirer Blackmailed Him with Nude Selfies
Jeff Bezos, one of the richest men on the planet, made an appalling announcement this week, saying that National Enquirer has been threatening to post nude photographs of him. The feud between Bezos and the outlet ensued after the tabloid exposed Bezos’ affair. Bezos, in turn, started to investigate what he referred to as a “politically motivated” piece, which apparently was not to the Enquirer’s liking.

Bezos issued a lengthy statement, in which he elaborated on the situation and accused National Enquirer of the long history of shady and illegal practices like blackmail, corruption and politically motivated attacks. He also said that he would not want his private photos to be published, but that he could not give in to the disgraceful demands.

Previously, National Enquirer posted an expos? of Bezos’ affair with Lauren Sanchez. Both of them were married at the time. Bezos later divorced his wife for 25 years. Bezos’ security advisers are currently investigating how exactly the tabloid got hold of his private pictures. Bezos says the article in the Enquirer is politically motivated, as the outlet is owned by President Trump’s friend. Trump has been a vocal critic of Bezos’ businesses, including The Washington Post.
