Why did the National Guard troops receive orders to leave the border?
"I gave the order to return all members of the National Guard who were on the border with Mexico. We will not be part of the industrial crisis organized by Donald Trump," the California Governor said. Gavin Newsom also announced on Monday that 350 soldiers will be sent to fight the spread of drugs and forest fires after leaving the border. On the eve, the New Mexico Gov. ordered the state's National Guard troops to leave the borders, because officials disagree with the actions and strategy of U.S. President.

Jerry Brown (Former California Gov.) deployed his troops on the border with Mexico last year.

“This is a necessary action as migration rates continue to increase. Our troops will be deployed at the border to comply with all rules and regulations,” Jerry Brown said. Last spring, Donald Trump ordered the deployment of several thousand National Guard troops to the states of Arizona, New Mexico, Texas and California.

Troops were called in to support customs and border services and strengthen all barriers against illegal migration. Now, thousands of migrants are waiting for passes to apply for political asylum in the United States. According to NBC News, only 40 refugees per day can apply.
