Representatives of the Republicans and Democrats are looking for new compromises to conclude a contract before the start of the new shutdown. On Feb.15, financing will expire and Donald Trump may announce the start of a new shutdown, if he does not receive funding for the construction of a wall on the border with Mexico.
Huff Post claims that the parties began to discuss the new treaty after the start of a new wave of migrants, who are looking for a better life in the United States. Later, representatives of the Republicans said that talks were deadlocked. Therefore, the negotiations were rescheduled for Monday. In any case, the contract must be concluded by Friday.
Democratic Senator Jon Tester "Any negotiations are accompanied by differences. I am sure we will find the right solution and prevent the shutdown."
The last shutdown was completed on Jan. 25 when the U.S. President signed an agreement without receiving $ 5.7 billion. Of course, Donald Trump did not give up funding, saying that he would announce a new shutdown, if Congress did not provide funding until Feb.15. During 3 last weeks, the parties tried to resolve the conflict and find compromises to achieve a common goal.
Representatives from the White House said that the new shutdown is a real threat.
