The United States has blocked a Chinese-backed crypto mining firm from owning land near a strategic nuclear missile base in Wyoming. On May 13, the Biden administration said that the mining firm’s proximity to the base could pose a “national security risk”. The order forces the divestment of property operated as a crypto mining facility near the Francis E. Warren Air Force Base. The Francis E. Warren Air Force Base houses the Minuteman III intercontinental ballistic missiles.
