Real Madrid have the perfect chance to move top of the table with a victory, after current leaders Atletico Madrid suffered a shock 1-0 defeat to Leganes, while third-place Barcelona also drew away at Getafe. That means that a win would put Los Blancos two points clear at the top and seven points clear of the Blaugrana.
Las Palmas are on a good run of form, with three wins from their last four matches. Currently in 14th place in the table, the Canarians are having a decent season in their first campaign back in the top flight, and they will take confidence in the fact that they managed a draw in the reverse fixture earlier in the season.
But there are few, if any, tougher places to go than the Bernabeu, and Los Blancos have won their last three home LaLiga matches since their 4-0 defeat in El Clasico.
