Macron corrects trump on costs of Ukraine war and says "Peace must not mean surrender"

Macron corrected Trump after he claimed European aid to Ukraine was in loans, clarifying most of the support was grants. Meanwhile, Ukraine's President Zelensky expressed hopes for ending the war this year at a summit in Kyiv. At the UN, the General Assembly passed a resolution reaffirming Ukraine's sovereignty and territorial integrity. The US, Russia, and North Korea opposed it, supporting a resolution that avoided backing Ukraine's territorial claims and referred to Russia's invasion as a "conflict."
