Zuljanah

Zuljanah was the loyal and noble horse of Imam Hussain (A.S), the grandson of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH). Zuljanah is remembered for his deep devotion, unmatched bravery, and significant role in the Battle of Karbala. Described as a strong, elegant, and pure white stallion, Zuljanah was not just a means of transport but a symbol of sacrifice and loyalty. On the day of Ashura, after carrying Imam Hussain (A.S) into battle, Zuljanah returned to the camp, wounded and alone, to inform the family of the Imam’s martyrdom. His story continues to be honored in Muharram processions as a symbol of faithfulness and courage.
