Surah ash-Shams is the 91st surah of the Quran and it has 15 verses. The surah is named after the word "ash-shams" which appears in verse 1, which means "the sun". The surah addresses various themes, including the creation of the universe, the power of God, the importance of gratitude, and the fate of those who reject faith. It also stresses on the importance of the family and community, and encourages the believers to strive for righteousness. The surah concludes by reminding the believers that they will be accountable for their actions on the Day of Judgment
