The 1-cylinder 2-stroke Yamaha Energy Induction System (YEIS) engine with 18.5 PS at 9,000 rpm made the RX-King nicknamed the king of the road in its golden age. The pull at the bottom round is so wild that it is supported by capable control. That's also what made RX-King an idol at that time.
