A vegetable koftay recipe that you will always treasure. #MilkpakYogurt #HappyCookingToYou #HarBaarZaiqaydaar Written Recipe: http://bit.ly/2YpTkyx Visit Our Website: https://www.foodfusion.com Download iOS & Android app: https://www.foodfusion.com/app Facebook: https://facebook.com/foodfusionpk Instagram: https://instagram.com/foodfusionpk Twitter: https://twitter.com/foodfusionpk Also Follow @HealthyFoodFusion & @FoodFusionKids for healthy food & kids special recipes. 00:00 Mix Vegetable Koftay 00:19 Prepare Koftay 01:19 Prepare Gravy 03:03 Aray waah Serves 6-7 Recipe in English: Ingredients: -Aloo (Potatoes) boiled & peeled ½ kg (room temperature) -Lal mirch powder (Red chili powder) 1/2 tsp or to taste -Haldee powder (Turmeric powder) 1/4 tsp -Zeera powder (Cumin powder) 1 tsp -Namak (Salt) 1/2 tsp or to taste -Chaat masala 1/2 tsp -Adrak lehsan (Ginger garlic) freshly chopped 1/2 tbs -Breadcrumbs 1/4 cup -Maida (All-purpose flour) 1/2 cup -Gajar (Carrot) shredded 1/4 cup -Shimla mirch (Capsicum) finely chopped 2 tbs -Hari mirch (Green chili) chopped 1 tbs -Hara dhania (Fresh coriander) chopped 1-2 tbs -Cooking oil for frying -Cooking oil 5-6 tbs -Pyaz (Onion) sliced 1 large -Adrak (Ginger) 1 inch piece -Lehsan (Garlic) 4-5 cloves -Kaju (Cashew nuts) 8-10 -Nestle milkpak yogurt 1 cup -Zeera (Cumin seeds) 1 tsp -Laung (Cloves) 3-4 -Hari elaichi (Green cardamom) 2 -Darchini (Cinnamon stick) 1 -Tamatar (Tomato) pureed ½ Cup -Garam masala powder 1 tsp -Namak (Salt) 1 tsp or to taste -Dhania powder (Coriander powder) 1/2 tbs -Haldee powder (Turmeric powder) 1/4 tsp -Lal mirch powder (Red chili powder) 1 tsp or to taste -Pani (Water) 1 cup or as required -Hara dhania (Fresh coriander) chopped Directions: -In bowl,grate potatoes with the help of the grater. -Add red chili powder,turmeric powder,cumin powder,salt,chaat masala,ginger garlic,breadcrumbs,all-purpose flour and mix until well combined. -Add carrot,capsicum,green chili,fresh coriander and mix well. -Grease hands with cooking oil,take a mixture and makes koftay of equal sizes (makes 16). -In wok,heat cooking oil and fry on medium low flame until golden brown. -In wok,add cooking oil,onion and fry until golden brown. -Add ginger,garlic,cashew nuts and mix well for 1 minute then take out in a bowl. -In grinder,add fried onion+cashew nuts and chop well. -Add yogurt and grind to make a paste & set aside. -In the same wok,add cumin seeds,cloves,green cardamom,cinnamon stick and mix well. -Add tomato puree,mix well and cook for 2 minutes. -Now add yogurt & onion puree,mix well and cook for 2-3 minutes. -Add garam masala powder,salt,coriander powder,turmeric powder,red chili powder,mix well and cook for 4-5 minutes. -Add water,mix well and bring it to boil,cover and cook on low flame for 8-10 minutes then cook on high flame until oil separates. -In serving dish,add fried koftay and pour gravy. -Garnish with fresh coriander & serve! Recipe in Urdu: Directions: -Bowl mein aloo grate ker ka dal dein. -Lal mirch powder,haldee powder,zeera powder,namak,chaat masala,adrak lehsan paste,breadcrumbs aur maida dal ker ache tarhan mix ker lein. -Gajar,shimla mirch,hari mirch aur hara dhania dal ker ache tarhan mix ker lein. -Haathon ko oil sa grease karein aur mixture ko la ker ek jaisay sizes ka koftay tayyar ker lein (makes 16). -Karhai mein cooking oil garam karein aur darmiyani halki ancch per golden brown huay tak fry ker lein. -Karhai mein cooking aur pyaz dal dein aur golden brown hunay tak fry ker lein. -Adrak,lehsan aur kaju dal ker 1 minute kliya ache tarhan mix karein aur bowl mein nikal lein. -Grinder mein fried pyaz+kaju dal ker ache tarhan chop ker lein. -Dahi shamil karein aur grind ker ka paste tayyar ker lein & side per rakh dein. -Us he karhai mein zeera,laung,hari elaichi aur darchini dal ker mix karein. -Tamatar puree dal ker ache tarhan mix karein aur 2 minutes kliya paka lein. -Ab dahi & pyaz ki puree dal ker mix karein aur 2-3 minutes kliya paka lein. -Garam masala powder,namak,dhania powder,haldee powder aur lal mirch powder dal ker ache tarhan mix karein aur4- 5 minutes kliya paka lein. -Pani dal ker mix karein aur ubal anay ka bad dhak dein aur halki ancch per 8-10 minutes kliya paka lein phir tez ancch per oil alag hunay tak paka lein. -Serving dish mein fried koftay aur gravy dal dein. -Hara dhania sa garnish ker ka serve karein.
